Clyde Hinton Killed in Midland Two-Vehicle Crash on Andrews Highway
Midland, Texas (August 10, 2021) – According to the police, one person was killed, and two others were injured Sunday morning in a head-on collision in Midland.
The fatal crash happened just before noon, August 8, on Andrews Highway.
Police said Clyde Hinton, 68, was driving a 2006 Corvette eastbound on the highway when he crossed into oncoming traffic and crashed head-on into a Ford F-250.
Hinton was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Ford driver and a juvenile passenger were taken to Midland Memorial Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The crash remains under investigation.
