Police Motorcycle Officer, Civilian Injured in Houston Crash on North Freeway at Shepherd
Houston, Texas (April 3, 2019) – A Houston motorcycle officer and a civilian were injured in a traffic collision in Houston Wednesday morning, authorities reported.
The two-car wreck occurred at about 5:00 a.m. on the North Freeway at Shepherd.
According to the authorities, the motorcycle officer was driving to work when the accident happened.
The officer sustained minor injuries. The driver of the other vehicle complained of back pain and was transported to a hospital.
Authorities shut down the freeway for approximately 30 to 45 minutes as they worked to clear the scene.
The crash remains under investigation.
