Donna Hinckle Killed in 2-Vehicle Crash on State Highway 137 in Lubbock

Donna Hinckle ID’d as Victim Killed in Lubbock Collision on State Highway 137

Lubbock, Texas (April 29, 2023) – The Texas Department of Safety Public Safety has identified the person who died following a traffic accident on Thursday in Dawson County as Donna Ruth Hinckle, 50, of Lubbock.

The deadly accident happened on State Highway 137 on Thursday, April 27.

DPS said Hinckle was driving northbound on State Highway 137 when she failed to stay in the correct lane and hit a 2015 Mack GU7 that was towing a 2012 Semi-Trailer.

Hinckle, who was wearing a seatbelt, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The road conditions were dry at the time of the accident.

Further details regarding the collision were immediately provided.

The crash remains under investigation.
