Two Injured in Amarillo Two-Vehicle Crash at Western and Loop 335

Amarillo, Texas (March 4, 2022) – Two people were injured Thursday afternoon in a two-vehicle crash in Amarillo, according to the Texas DPS.

The crash happened on March 3, on the north frontage road at Western and Loop 335.

DPS said an SUV and a semi-trailer were involved in the crash.

One person was taken to the hospital with critical injuries. A second person was also taken to the hospital in stable condition.

The northbound traffic was diverted onto Loop 335 eastbound, and the southbound traffic from North-Western was diverted onto Loop 335 following the crash.

The crash remains under investigation.
