Man Injured in San Antonio Minibike Crash on Amber Avenue near Walhalla Avenue

San Antonio, Texas (April 26, 2020) – A man in his 20s was injured early Sunday morning in a hit-and-run accident involving a minibike in San Antonio, a local news source reported.

The accident took place around 1:00 a.m. on Amber Avenue near the intersection of Walhalla Avenue.

According to the report, the man was riding a non-street legal minibike down Amber Avenue when he was rear-ended by a car near the intersection.

The man was taken to SAMMC with a badly broken leg. He was listed in serious condition.

The driver of the car fled the scene after the accident. Officers found the mirror of the car that had been knocked off during the crash and the license plate.

The minibike had no tail lights at the time of the accident.

An investigation into the crash is underway.

We wish the injured victim a quick recovery.

“When a person has suffered a grave personal injury in an accident due to someone else’s negligence, the most overwhelming emotion they feel is a sense of injustice. They often ask how such a life-altering event could have happened to them,” attorney Joel A. Gordon said. “The next question usually is, who can help me?” Mr. Gordon added.

A legal advocate can represent an injury victim. The attorney will file a claim on behalf of the victim and will have the responsibility of citing existing codes, laws or statues which were violated.
