Stefani Paredes, Moises Salgado, Mayra Ramirez Among Six injured in Flint Crash on County Road 1215 at CR 1284

Flint, Texas (October 27, 2022) – Stefani Paredes, 21, of Kilgore, Moises Salgado, 25, of Tyler, and Mayra Ramirez, 29, were among six people who were injured in a Tuesday morning traffic accident in Flint, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.

The wreck happened at around 7:02 a.m. Tuesday, October 25 at the intersection of County Road 1215 and County Road 1284.

DPS said Paredes was driving a 2004 Lincoln Navigator southbound on County Road 1215 when she failed to stop at a stop sign at the intersection and hit a 1998 Ford F-150, driven by Salgado.

After the collision, the F-150 crashed into a nearby house and went through a bedroom.

Ramirez and her children, a 7-month-old infant and a 10-year-old child, were in the house at the time of the accident. The 7-month-old infant was airlifted to a Shreveport hospital with incapacitating Injuries while Ramirez and the 10-year-old child were taken to a Tyler hospital.

Paredes was taken to UT Health Tyler with non-incapacitating injuries. Salgado and his 10-year-old passenger were taken to Tyler both with non-incapacitating injuries.

Authorities believed Paredes suffered a medical episode that led to the crash.

No additional information about the accident was provided.

An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
