Father, Daughter Killed in Hit-and-Run Crash on Delta Post Drive in Travis County

26-Year-Old Man, 3-Year-Old Daughter Killed in Travis County Crash on Delta Post Drive

Travis County, Texas (June 27, 2023) – A father and her daughter were killed in a hit-and-run crash on Friday night in western Travis County, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.

The deadly crash occurred at about 10:24 p.m. Friday, June 23 in the 5508 block of Delta Post Drive.

The DPS said a 2010 Chevrolet Silverado was heading southbound on Delta Post Drive when the driver reportedly failed to give one half of the roadway and collided head-on with a Kawasaki Brute Force 300 Utility ATV.

The 26-year-old man and his 3-year-old daughter, who were riding in the ATV, were pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the Chevrolet did not stop to render aid and fled the scene.

No further details were provided.

The crash remains under investigation.
