Two Killed in Houston Car Crash on Richmond Avenue

Houston, Texas (July 28, 2019) – A fatal traffic collision left two men dead early Sunday morning in Houston, according to a police report.

The wreck happened at about 2:30 a.m. in the 6400 block of Richmond Avenue.

Police said a suspected drunk driver was speeding down Richmond Avenue when he crashed his Cadillac into a Lexus that was pulling out of a driveway.

The impact sent the two vehicles flying into the center median.

The two men riding in the Lexus were killed in the crash.

At least two people in the Cadillac were treated for minor injuries.

The driver of the Cadillac was arrested on suspicion of DUI.

The crash is under investigation.
