Man Injured in Houston Pedestrian Accident at Houston Oaks Drive and Sam Houston Parkway
Houston, Texas (March 18, 2019) – A 19-year-old man was struck by a street racer Sunday morning at an intersection in northwest Harris County, according to the police.
The accident happened at about 5:00 a.m. March 17, in the 10111 block of Houston Oaks Drive at Sam Houston Parkway.
Police said the man was hit by a red Camaro that had reportedly started the racing with another car.
The man was taken to the hospital in stable condition.
Officers said speed was a factor in the accident.
The Camaro driver was uninjured in the crash.
The police are investigating the crash.
