Man Injured in Houston Bus-Pedestrian Accident on Main Street near Underwood

Houston, Texas (May 9, 2021) – A man was severely injured Saturday night after being struck by a bus in downtown Houston, according to the authorities.

The accident happened just after 10:00 p.m., May 8, on S. Main Street near Underwood.

Authorities said a bus was traveling southbound on the street when the man stepped out in front of it and was hit.

Firefighters responded to the scene and freed the man. He was taken to the hospital with severe injuries.

No other information was provided.

The authorities are investigating the crash.
