2 Seriously Injured in Hit-and-Run Accident at St. Augustine Road and Elam Road in Pleasant Grove

Two Sustains Major Injuries in Pleasant Grove Crash at St. Augustine Road and Elam Road
Pleasant Grove, Texas (January 16, 2019) – Two people were seriously injured last week Monday in a hit-and-run collision at an intersection in Pleasant Grove, police said.
The accident took place just before 10:30 p.m. Monday, January 7 at the intersection of St. Augustine and Elam roads.
Authorities said a black Jeep Grand Cherokee with Texas license plate LFV 4431 ran through the intersection and collided head-on with a Nissan Pathfinder.
The Nissan driver sustained major injuries in the crash. A woman, who was a passenger in the Jeep, also suffered major injuries and was abandoned by the vehicle’s three other occupants, all men.
Witnesses told authorities that at least one of the fleeing men appeared to be injured in the accident.
According to the police, one of the Jeep’s occupants has been identified as Jesus Osorio and they believe he called Lesly Serna, who picked up the three men in a gray BMW sedan with Texas license plate KCT 4702.
