One Severely Injured in El Paso Two-Vehicle Crash on Interstate 10 near Vinton

El Paso, Texas (September 9, 2023) – One person was injured Friday morning in a two-vehicle crash in El Paso, according to the deputies.

The crash happened around 5:20 a.m., September 8, on Interstate 10 near Vinton.

Deputies said a person was driving when they failed to yield to a law enforcement vehicle that was nearby, resulting in a collision.

The person was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.

The deputy was not in the law enforcement vehicle at the time and was conducting an investigation on a separate single-vehicle accident at the time of the crash.

The crash remains under investigation.
