Teen Airlifted after Jersey Village Bicycle Accident on Philippine Street near Windfern Road

Jersey Village, Texas (February 14, 2020) – A 15-year-old boy was injured in a bicycle accident Thursday afternoon in the Jersey Village area, according to the deputies.

The crash occurred on Thursday, February 13, in the 14200 block of Philippine Street near Windfern Road.

Deputies said the teen was riding a bicycle when he pulled out in front of a 2006 Ford van and was hit.

The van driver stayed at the scene after the accident.

The teen was airlifted to the Texas Medical Center with life-threatening injuries.

The vehicle crimes investigators from the Harris County Sheriff’s Office are conducting the investigation.
