2 Men Injured in Head-On Crash on FM 973 Road in Austin

Father and Son Hospitalized after Austin Truck Crash on FM 973 Road near Decker Lake
Austin, Texas (February 9, 2019) – Two men, a father, and his son, were injured Friday morning in a head-on in northeast Austin, according to a local news source.
The crash was reported at about 5:00 a.m. February 8, in the 7000 block of FM 973 Road, just east of Decker Lake.
As per the article, a truck and a dump truck collided head-on for unknown reasons.
Authorities said one person was trapped in one of the vehicles.
A 40-year-old father and his 20-year-old son were taken to South Austin Hospital with serious but, non-life threatening injuries.
No further details were provided.
The crash remains under investigation.
