Juan Suarez and Grandmother Seriously Injured in NE Houston Three-Vehicle Crash on Hirsch Road at Laura Koppe Road

Houston, Texas – A 2-year-old boy and his grandmother were seriously injured last month in a hit-and-run accident in northeast Houston, according to a local news source.

The crash happened on January 30, at the intersection of Hirsch Road and Laura Koppe Road.

According to the report, Juan Suarez’s great-grandmother was driving on Hirsch Road when a white pickup truck ran a red light and slammed into the family’s car. The truck pushed the family’s car into a school bus.

Suarez was taken to the hospital with brain injuries and a broken arm. His great-grandmother sustained multiple rib and spine fractures and has since been released from the hospital. The family has started a GoFundMe campaign to cover medical expenses.

The driver and passenger of the truck fled the scene after the crash and the authorities are still looking for them.

An investigation is underway.
