Darien Lewis Hit, Killed by DUI Driver on Bissonnet Street in Houston

Darien Lewis ID’d as 6-Year-Old Boy Killed in Houston Pedestrian Accident on Bissonnet Street

Houston, Texas (October 7, 2022) – 6-year-old Darien Lewis died after he was struck by an alleged drunken driver Saturday evening in Houston, according to a local news source.

The deadly crash took place in the 11200 block of Bissonnet Street on Saturday, October 1.

As per the report, Lewis was walking with his grandfather to buy snacks at a store when Lewis was hit by a vehicle in the parking lot on Bissonnet Street.

Lewis died in the crash.

The driver, Pedro Alberto Hernandez, was arrested and charged with murder, along with his three DWI’s.

Further details regarding the collision were immediately provided.

The accident remains under investigation.
