14-Year-Old Bicyclist Killed in Crash on SH 29 in Williamson County

14-Year-Old Boy Killed in Williamson County Bicycle Accident on State Highway 29

Williamson County, Texas (November 16, 2020) – A 14-year-old boy was killed in a bicycle accident Saturday night in Williamson County, according to the Texas DPS.

The deadly accident happened around 8:30 p.m., November 14, on State Highway 29.

DPS said the bicyclist and a 2010 Toyota Prius were both traveling eastbound on the highway when they came to an unlit portion of the road, and the boy was hit by the Prius.

The bicycle didn’t have lights on at the time of the crash.

The bicyclist was killed in the crash. His name has not been released.

No other details were provided.

The crash remains under investigation.
