Officer, Civilian Injured in 2-Vehicle Crash on State Highway 302 in Odessa

Officer, Civilian Hospitalized after Odessa Collision on State Highway 302

Odessa, Texas (June 23, 2022) – An officer with Loving County Sheriff’s Department and a civilian were injured in a traffic collision Wednesday morning in Odessa, authorities said.

The wreck happened at around 6:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 22, on State Highway 302.

A Loving County Patrol Unit and a civilian car were involved in the crash. Details of what led up to the accident were not immediately available.

The officer and the driver of the civilian car were transported to the E.R. with minor injuries.

Further details about the crash were not immediately provided.

Authorities are investigating the cause of the crash.
