One Killed in Frisco Pedestrian Accident on Sam Rayburn Tollway near Custer Road

Frisco, Texas (December 30, 2020) – A pedestrian was fatally hit by an 18-wheeler Sunday night in Frisco, according to a local news source.

The deadly accident happened around 10:00 p.m., December 27, in the southbound lanes of Sam Rayburn Tollway near Custer Road.

According to the report, the pedestrian walked out in front of a southbound 18-wheeler and was hit.

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. Their identity has not been released.

The 18-wheeler driver was uninjured in the crash.

The accident closed the southbound lanes of Sam Rayburn Tollway at Exchange Parkway for several hours.

The crash remains under investigation.
