Holbert Benitez Killed in West Houston Pedestrian Accident on Brittmoore Road near Hazelhurst Drive

Houston, Texas (September 7, 2019) – A man in his late 30s was killed in a hit-and-run accident Thursday night in west Houston, according to the police.

The deadly accident took place at about 11:30 p.m. September 5, on Brittmoore Road near Hazelhurst Drive.

Police said Holbert Benitez was walking across the street when a northbound light colored 2014-2017 Toyota truck hit him.

The driver left the scene after the accident.

Benitez, a welder and a father of three, was killed in the crash.

Police are looking for the truck which may have front end damage.
