One Killed and Four Injured in Donna Three-Vehicle Crash on FM 493 and Stiles Road

Donna, Texas (September 2, 2022) – One person was killed, and four others were injured on Thursday in a three-vehicle crash in Donna, according to the authorities.

The fatal crash happened on September 1, in the area of FM 493 and Stiles Road.

Authorities said at about 2:45 p.m., a man was evading law enforcement in a black Nissan Altima and was traveling southbound on FM 493 and Stiles Road. He made a U-turn to travel northbound on FM 493 and crashed into a blue Saturn ION occupied by four people and a blue Toyota occupied by one person.

One of the passengers in the Saturn was pronounced dead at the scene. Their identity has not been released. The other three passengers and the Toyota driver were taken to a local hospital for treatment.

The suspect was also taken to the hospital for treatment.

The DPS troopers are investigating the crash.
