James Lingnau Killed in Midland County Two-Vehicle Crash on FM 307 and South County Road 1090

Midland County, Texas (November 8, 2019) – A man was killed in a two-vehicle crash Wednesday morning at a Midland County intersection, according to the DPS.

The fatal crash happened just 7:30 a.m. on November 6, in the area of FM 307 and South County Road 1090.

DPS said James Lingnau, 52, of Andrews, was driving a Chevrolet Silverado on South County Road 1090. He attempted to turn left onto FM 307 and failed to yield the right of way to a Ford F-250 which was westbound on FM 307 and the two vehicles collided.

Lingnau was pronounced dead at the scene.

The other driver was taken to Midland Memorial Hospital with non-incapacitating injuries.

The authorities are investigating the crash.
