Melissa K. Rodriguez Killed in Denton Pedestrian Accident on Dallas Drive near Johnson Street

Denton, Texas (January 15, 2020) – The man who was killed in a pedestrian accident over the weekend in Denton has been identified as Melissa K. Rodriguez,51, of Denton, according to the Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office.

The accident happened at about 7:20 p.m. January 9, in the 200 block of Dallas Drive near Johnson Street.

Police said Rodriguez was in the roadway when she was hit by a vehicle. She was rushed to Medical City Denton, where she died on Sunday, January 12.

An investigation into the crash is underway.
