Dallas, Texas (February 15, 2020) – Two Dallas police officers were injured in a two-vehicle crash Thursday night on a Dallas freeway, according to the police.

The crash occurred on Thursday, February 13, on RL Thornton Freeway.

Police said a squad car with its emergency lights activated was blocking part of the freeway when it was rear-ended by a Ford F-150 pickup.

The driver of the pickup had suffered a medical emergency immediately before the crash.

Two officers in the squad car were taken to the hospital as a precaution.

The pickup driver was uninjured in the crash and was treated for the medical issue.

An investigation is underway.

We hope the injured victims recover quickly.

Common Causes of Automobile Accidents

While there are many causes of car accidents, the most common reasons of driver negligence include driver inattention; cell phone use; texting and driving; speeding; fatigue; failure to yield the right of way from a stop sign or private drive; running a red light; and driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs,” Attorney Joel A. Gordon said. Mr. Gordon believes that an independent investigation is important. An Attorney will help obtain the crash report, secure accident photos, interview witnesses, and create a claim.
