Driver Struck by Passing Vehicle on Loop 410 in San Antonio

One Injured in San Antonio Pedestrian Accident on Loop 410 near Somerset Road

San Antonio, Texas (June 27, 2020) – A driver was struck by a passing vehicle early Friday morning in San Antonio, according to police.

The accident happened just before 2:00 a.m. June 26, on Loop 410 south near Somerset Road.

Police said a driver hit a guardrail and spun out into the median. He then got out of the vehicle, ran back up onto the highway, and was clipped by another car. He was taken to a local hospital and is expected to recover.

The driver of the second vehicle lost control and spun after hitting the man. His condition was not disclosed.

An investigation into the crash is underway.
