Man Killed in Amarillo Pedestrian Accident on Amarillo Boulevard

Amarillo, Texas (May 18, 2020) – A man was killed in a pedestrian accident Sunday night in Amarillo, according to police.

The deadly accident took place around 9:31 p.m. May 17, in the 4800 block of East Amarillo Boulevard. 

Police said the man was walking northbound across the street, outside of a crosswalk, when he was struck by an eastbound 2014 Chevrolet Cruse.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene.

No other injuries were reported.

The Traffic Investigation Squad of the Amarillo Police Department is investigating the accident.
