Officer Injured in DUI Crash on Montana Avenue in El Paso; Lexis Croysdill Arrested

Police Officer Injured in El Paso Two-Vehicle Crash on Montana Avenue near Lee Boulevard; Lexis Croysdill Arrested

El Paso, Texas (November 26, 2019) – An El Paso police officer was injured Sunday night in a suspected DUI crash in El Paso, according to the police.

The crash happened around 11:00 p.m. November 24, in the 11500 block of Montana Avenue near Lee Boulevard.

Police said the police officer was conducting a traffic stop in the eastbound lane of Montana Avenue when his vehicle was rear-ended by a car driven by Lexis Croysdill, 23.

The police officer was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

Croysdill was arrested for driving while intoxicated. She was uninjured in the crash.

The crash remains under investigation.
