One Rider Killed, Three Others Injured in Houston Motorcycle Accident on Katy Freeway near Dairy Ashford Off-Ramp

Houston, Texas (June 8, 2023) – One motorcyclist was killed and three others were hospitalized after a collision between three motorcycles in Houston Wednesday night, authorities said.

The deadly crash happened shortly before 11:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 7, on the Katy Freeway near the Dairy Ashford exit.

According to the authorities, one motorcycle was traveling in the westbound lanes of the Katy Freeway at a high rate speed when it crashed into three riders who were on the shoulder.

The rider who crashed into them was pronounced dead at the scene, while the other three riders were transported to a hospital in unknown condition.

No further details were provided.

The crash remains under investigation.
