Man Hospitalized after Harlingen Pedestrian Accident on South Business 77

Harlingen, Texas (January 7, 2019) – A man was hospitalized after being struck by a vehicle on Thursday night in Harlingen, police said.
The crash was reported at about 8:33 p.m. January 3 in the 1500 block of South Business 77.
Police said a man was walking across the road when a passenger vehicle heading north on South Business 77 stuck him.
The victim was transported to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The driver of the vehicle involved remained at the scene. The driver was not hurt in the accident.
The Harlingen Police Department is working to determine the cause of the crash.
