52-Year-Old Man Killed in Houston Two-Vehicle Crash on Parker Road at Silvercrest Street

Houston, Texas (October 30, 2021) – A 52-year-old man was killed Thursday afternoon in a two-vehicle crash in Houston, according to the police.

The fatal crash happened around 3:15 p.m., October 28, in the 1000 block of Parker Road at the intersection of Silvercrest Street.

Police said a maroon Ford Mustang was traveling northbound on Silvercrest Street when it stopped at the intersection. It then left the stop sign and was struck by a black Chevrolet Trailblazer that was traveling eastbound on Parker Road.

The force of the impact caused the Ford to spin out.

The Chevrolet driver, a 35-year-old woman, continued driving eastbound until her vehicle became disabled. She and her passenger, a 4-year boy, then returned to the scene on foot.

The woman was uninjured, but the boy was taken to Texas Children’s Hospital as a precaution.

The Ford driver, a 52-year-old man, was pronounced dead at the scene. His name has not been released.

The police are investigating the crash.

Common Causes of Automobile Accidents

While there are many causes of car accidents, the most common reasons of driver negligence include driver inattention; cell phone use; texting and driving; speeding; fatigue; failure to yield the right of way from a stop sign or private drive; running a red light; and driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs,” Attorney Joel A. Gordon said. Mr. Gordon believes that an independent investigation is important. An Attorney will help obtain the crash report, secure accident photos, interview witnesses, and create a claim.
