Juan Enrique Orduna Killed in Lubbock Two-Vehicle Crash on North Idalou Road

Lubbock, Texas (December 12, 2020) – One person was killed, and three others were injured in a head-on collision Wednesday night in Lubbock, according to LPD.

The deadly crash occurred around 7:00 p.m., December 9, in the 3900 block of North Idalou Road.

Police said a Chevrolet Colorado driven by Juan Enrique Orduna, 46, was traveling westbound in the eastbound lanes when it crashed head-on into an eastbound Chevrolet Silverado 2500 driven by Ernesto Perez Vega, 41.

Orduna was pronounced dead at the scene.

Vega was taken to Covenant Medical Center with moderate injuries.

Two passengers in the Silverado were taken to University Medical Center with moderate injuries.

The Major Crash Investigation Unit is investigating the crash.
