Officer Injured in San Antonio Two-Vehicle Crash on Frio Street at I-35 Access Road

San Antonio, Texas (November 26, 2019) – A police officer was injured Monday night in a suspected DUI crash in San Antonio, according to a local news release.

The crash took place on Monday, November 25, on Frio Street at Interstate 35, near the downtown campus of UTSA.

Police said the San Antonio police officer was on patrol on Frio Street when a woman who was driving southbound on the I-35 access road ran a red light and T-boned the officer’s patrol car.

The officer was treated at the scene for their injuries.

The woman was arrested on suspicion of DWI.

The crash remains under investigation.
