74-Year-Old Woman Killed in Houston Two-Vehicle Crash at Navigation Boulevard and Macario Garcia Drive

Houston, Texas (April 22, 2021) – An elderly woman was killed in a two-vehicle crash Wednesday night in Houston’s East Side, according to police.

The crash happened just after 11:00 p.m., April 21, at the intersection of Navigation Boulevard and Macario Garcia Drive.

Police said a female was driving when she ran a red light at the intersection and crashed into another vehicle driven by a 74-year-old woman.

The 74-year-old woman was taken to the hospital, where she later died. Her name has not been released.

Officers said the other driver might have been texting at the time of the crash.

No other details were provided.

The police are investigating the crash.
