One Killed in South Austin Multi-Vehicle Crash on I-35 near Slaughter Lane

Austin, Texas (September 27, 2020) – One person was killed in a multi-vehicle crash Saturday night in South Austin, according to police.

The fatal crash happened just before midnight, September 26, on Interstate 35 near Slaughter Lane.

Police said the collision involved multiple vehicles.

One person, an adult, was pronounced dead at the scene. The victim’s identity has not been released.

No further details regarding the crash were provided.

The crash remains under investigation.
