Man Killed in Houston Pedestrian Accident on North Freeway 

Houston, Texas – A man was killed early Monday morning in a hit-and-run accident in Houston, according to the police.

The deadly accident happened around 1:00 a.m., March 4, in the 4500 block of North Freeway (North Interstate Highway 45).

Police said the man was pacing on the main lanes of the freeway when he was struck by a vehicle in the southbound lanes. He might have also been hit by other vehicles.

A passing motorist spotted the victim and called 911. The man was pronounced dead at the scene. His name has not been released.

The police are investigating the crash. Anyone with any information about the hit-and-run is asked to contact the HPD Hit-and-run Unit at 713-247-4072. Anonymous tips can also be provided to Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS. The case is registered under incident number 032042424-Y.
