Erica Lanier Killed and Richard Lanier Critically Injured in Temple Two-Vehicle Crash on I-35

Temple, Texas (January 2, 2020) – The Waco couple who was involved in a fatal traffic accident in December in Temple has been identified, according to the authorities.

The deadly accident happened on December 10, on I-35.

Authorities said Richard and Erica Lanier were traveling on the rainy day when their car spun out on the interstate and crashed into an 18-wheeler.

Erica was declared dead at the scene.

Richard was taken to the hospital in critical condition.
