14-Year-Old Girl Killed in San Benito Crash at Oyama Road and FM 800

San Benito, Texas (April 21, 2019) – A 14-year-old driver of an ATV was killed when she collided with a vehicle at an intersection in San Benito on Saturday night, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.
The collision took place on Saturday, April 20, at the Oyama Road and FM 800.
According to the authorities, the 14-year-old girl was operating an ATV when she collided with a Nissan Frontier pick up at the intersection.
The ATV had the driver and at least two passengers. The driver was pronounced dead at the scene while two passengers were transported to Valley Baptist Medical Center in critical condition.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
