Three Officers Injured in Houston Multi-Vehicle Crash at Crosstimbers and Irvington

Houston, Texas (October 31, 2021) – Three police officers were injured early Saturday morning in a chain-reaction crash in north Houston, according to the police.

The crash happened around 1:00 a.m., October 30, in the area of Crosstimbers and Irvington.

Police said three HPD officers spotted a stolen vehicle and tried to pull over the suspects. The suspects led the officers on a chase, and within a minute, the stolen vehicle struck an innocent person, resulting in a chain-reaction crash involving the three HPD patrol vehicles.

The three officers sustained non-life-threatening injuries in the crash.

The innocent person was uninjured in the crash.

Three suspects were arrested and taken into custody. There was a possibility that the police were still looking for a fourth suspect.

The crash remains under investigation.

Common Causes of Automobile Accidents

While there are many causes of car accidents, the most common reasons of driver negligence include driver inattention; cell phone use; texting and driving; speeding; fatigue; failure to yield the right of way from a stop sign or private drive; running a red light; and driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs,” Attorney Joel A. Gordon said. Mr. Gordon believes that an independent investigation is important. An Attorney will help obtain the crash report, secure accident photos, interview witnesses, and create a claim.
