2 Killed in Multi-Vehicle Crash on I-30 in Royse City

Two Killed in Royse City Multi-Vehicle Crash on Interstate 30

Royse City, Texas (August 7, 2023) – Two people were killed Monday morning in a multi-vehicle crash in Royse City, according to a local news source.

The fatal crash happened around 8:27 a.m., on Interstate 30 eastbound.

According to the report, an 18-wheeler was traveling westbound when it crossed over into the eastbound side and crashed into three cars.

One of the cars caught fire and was engulfed in flames. Two people in the car were killed in the crash. Their identities have not been released.

The crash closed I-30 eastbound between FM35 and FM2642.

The authorities are investigating the crash.
