Zelly Sean Killed in Austin Pedestrian Accident on East Anderson Lane

Austin, Texas (February 21, 2022) – A Good Samaritan was fatally struck by a vehicle Sunday morning in north Austin, according to the police.

The deadly accident happened around 4:00 a.m., February 20, in the 1100 block of East Anderson Lane.

Police said a single vehicle was involved in a crash, and a passing vehicle stopped to help the driver involved in the crash. The Good Samaritan, Zelly Sean, was then struck by another vehicle.

Sean was pronounced dead at the scene. He was outside of his vehicle when he was hit. An online fundraiser is currently open to the public to help Sean’s family.

The driver who hit Sean stayed at the scene after the accident.

US 183 southbound near Cameron Road was closed following the crash.

An investigation is underway.
