Jellmer Garcia Killed in San Antonio Crash on South Highway 281 

San Antonio, Texas (May 10, 2021) – The man who was killed on Saturday in a major traffic accident that left three other men injured in San Antonio has been identified as Jellmer Santos Garcia, according to the Bexar County Medical Examiner.

The fatal crash happened on May 8, on South Highway 281.

Deputies said a pickup truck rear-ended an 18-wheeler on the highway. Another pickup truck struck a nearby pedestrian in the same location.

Garcia was airlifted to University Hospital, where he later died.

Three other men were taken to the Brooke Army Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.

The crash remains under investigation.
