2 Critically Injured in Rollover Crash on Gulf Freeway in Houston

Two Critically Injured in Houston Two-Vehicle Crash on Gulf Freeway at Tiki Island

Houston, Texas (March 14, 2022) – Two people were critically injured Sunday night in a rollover crash in Houston, according to the authorities.

The crash happened around 7:37 p.m., March 13, on the Gulf Freeway (Interstate 45) near Exit 4 at Tiki Island.

Authorities said an SUV was exiting at Tiki Island when it was hit by another car. The impact caused the SUV to roll over, ejecting a man and a woman. Both victims were taken to a local hospital in critical condition.

A 3-year-old who was in the SUV sustained only bruises.

The crash closed all the southbound lanes of the freeway until around 9:00 p.m.

The crash remains under investigation.
