Thomas Byrd Killed in Round Rock Pedestrian Crash on East Palm Valley Boulevard near A.W. Grimes Boulevard

Round Rock, Texas (May 10, 2023) – A man was fatally hit by a vehicle Saturday night in Round Rock, according to the police.

The deadly accident happened around 9:05 p.m., May 6, on East Palm Valley Boulevard just west of A.W. Grimes Boulevard near the HEB.

Police said Thomas Byrd, 69, from Round Rock, was walking when he was struck by a vehicle.

Byrd was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with the investigators.

No other information was available.

The police are investigating the crash.
