One Killed in Houston Pedestrian Accident on Bellaire Boulevard

Houston, Texas (June 10, 2022) – A pedestrian was killed Wednesday night in a hit-and-run accident in Houston, according to the police.

The deadly accident happened around 10:45 p.m., June 8, in the 5900 block of Bellaire Boulevard.

Police said a blue or black Ford SUV was traveling eastbound when it struck the pedestrian who was on the roadway.

The vehicle fled the scene after the accident.

The victim was taken to Ben Taub General Hospital, where he was pronounced dead on June 9. His name has not been released.

The police are investigating the crash. Anyone with any information about the crash is asked to call the HPD Hit and Run Unit at 713-247-4072 or speak anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS.
