23-Year-Old Man Killed in Hit-and-Run on Kayson Street near Hempstead Highway in Houston

Houston, Texas – A 23-year-old man was killed on Tuesday in a hit-and-run accident in Houston, according to the police.

The deadly accident was reported around 4:40 a.m., April 2, on Kayson Street near Sowden Road and Hempstead Highway.

Police said the man was on a motorcycle when he was hit by an unidentified vehicle.

The vehicle fled the scene after the accident.

The man was taken to Memorial Hermann – Texas Medical Center where he was later pronounced dead. His name has not been released.

An investigation is underway. The HPD Hit and Run Unit is urging anyone with any information about the accident to come forward. Anonymous tips can also be made to Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS.
