Several Injured in Rockport Multi-Vehicle Crash on State Highway 35 near Holiday Beach

Rockport, Texas (December 2, 2019) – Several people were injured Sunday afternoon in a multi-vehicle crash in Rockport, according to the troopers.

The crash happened around 3:12 p.m. December 1, on State Highway 35 north of Holiday Beach.

Troopers said multiple vehicles collided for unknown reasons on the highway.

Two medical helicopters responded to the scene.

Several people were taken to hospitals for treatment.

Parts of the highway were closed following the crash.

The highway was reopened around 5:00 p.m.

The crash remains under investigation.
