Midland, Texas (July 1, 2021) – Three people were injured Tuesday night in a two-vehicle crash at a Midland intersection, according to the police.

The crash happened around 8:58 p.m., June 29, at the intersection of North Big Spring Street and West Wadley Avenue.

Police said a Chevy Silverado was traveling eastbound on Wadley Avenue and entered the intersection while a Toyota Sienna was turning onto Big Spring Street.

The Sienna failed to yield the right of way and collided with the Silverado.

The driver and one passenger of the Sienna were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Another passenger, a child, was taken to an out-of-town hospital with life-threatening injuries.

The crash remains under investigation.

Common Causes of Automobile Accidents

While there are many causes of car accidents, the most common reasons of driver negligence include driver inattention; cell phone use; texting and driving; speeding; fatigue; failure to yield the right of way from a stop sign or private drive; running a red light; and driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs,” Attorney Joel A. Gordon said. Mr. Gordon believes that an independent investigation is important. An Attorney will help obtain the crash report, secure accident photos, interview witnesses, and create a claim.
