One Critically Injured in Santa Fe Two-Vehicle Crash at FM 1764 and FM 646

Santa Fe, Texas (July 24, 2022) – One person was critically injured Saturday morning in a two-vehicle crash in Santa Fe, according to the police.

The crash happened on July 23, at the intersection of FM 1764 and FM 646.

Police said a pickup truck was traveling eastbound on FM 1764 when it ran a red light at the intersection and crashed into the trailer of an 18-wheeler.

The pickup truck driver was airlifted to a University of Texas Medical Branch hospital with life-threatening injuries.

No other details were available.

The police are investigating the crash.
