Man Killed in Lower Valley Pedestrian Accident on Interstate 10 near Giles Road

Lower Valley, Texas (June 16, 2022) – A man was fatally hit by a vehicle Wednesday night in the Lower Valley, according to the police.

The deadly accident happened around 9:40 p.m., on June 15, on Interstate 10 near Giles Road.

Police said the man was crossing the interstate when he was struck by a 2007 Ram 1500 driven by another man.

The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene. His name has not been released.

The pickup truck driver remained at the scene after the accident.

No other details were provided.

The police are investigating the crash.
