31-Year-Old Man Killed in Hit-and-Run on Parker Road in Houston

31-Year-Old Man Killed in Houston Dirt Bike Crash on Parker Road at Shady Lane

Houston, Texas (July 15, 2023) – According to the police, a 31-year-old man was killed Wednesday afternoon in a hit-and-run accident in Houston.

The fatal crash happened around 4:15 p.m., July 12, in the 2600 block of Parker Road at Shady Lane.

Police said the man was riding a green and white Kawasaki dirt bike northbound on Shady Lane when he failed to yield the right of way at a stop sign and struck an unknown green and white dump truck that was traveling eastbound on Parker Road.

The man was taken to Ben Taub General Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. His name has not been released.

The dump truck driver fled the scene after the accident.

The police are investigating the crash. Anyone with any information on the wanted driver and the vehicle is urged to call the HPD Hit and Run Unit at 713-247-4072 or speak anonymously with Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS.
